Some of the responsibilities of the Vice President
"Manage the overall quality of work on accounts by demonstrating professional and team leadership
"Coach and mentor staff
"Participate in new business pitches and play a leading role in prospecting and business development
"Total financial responsibility for accounts including forecasting and account profitability
"Lead the research, planning and development of comprehensive public relations programs
"Address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
"Train company spokespersons
"Generate media outreach strategies and demonstrate a superior understanding of media relations
"Superior writing and editing skills on all tasks including press releases, plans, speeches, emails and pitch letters both formal and informal
"Final editing responsibility for all agency- and client-generated documents
"Develop network of industry clients; participate in relevant professional organizations
"Manage/coordinate all aspects of a large account, project or event and/or manage multiple small accounts
"Drive the central idea for programs and projects, including creative platform, copy strategy and visual execution
Qualifications we are seeking in a candidate
"The Vice President should have at least eight years' public relations experience with people management and budget management experience
"The Vice president should have at least 8 years agency experience and/or strong corporate experience, relevant to more than one incident and industry
"The Vice President should have a bachelor's degree, a solid grasp of public relations tools, superior research, writing and editing skills
"We're looking for someone who can generate creative ideas, provide client counsel and be a respected manager
"Qualified candidates must be up for the challenge of defining the undefined and being motivated by the mutual success of their clients and their career

"Assist with managing basic updates to sites and/or applications for all areas of an account including
"Creation of and maintenance of Facebook pages and Twitter channels

Some of the qualifications we are seeking in a candidate:
The account executive should have 2-3 years of agency experience. A strong consumer tech background is a plus! The Account Executive should have an intricate level of understanding of the role that the Internet plays in a clients communication mix and understand and be able to assist in the development of online marketing/issues management campaigns. The Account Executive will have an understanding of on-line media and be able to educate others about it effectively. The Account Executive should have solid research, writing and editing skills and be able to evaluate and edit the work of an assistant account executive and interns. The account executive is expected to have a fundamental understanding of on-line media outreach assignments and apply experience and initiative in developing appropriate on-line media strategies. Basic knowledge of website structure, digital space and social media. Some web development skills such as HTML is a big plus.
